The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with C2C, successfully organized the event “Aligning Academic Training With Industry Needs” on 20th April 2026 at the UB-II Auditorium, Vidyasagar Bhawan. The session aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical demands of the healthcare and optical industry.
The expert session was conducted by Mr. Ritwik Gangopadhyay, Regional Training Specialist – East, Carl Zeiss India (Bangalore) Pvt. Ltd., who shared valuable insights on industry expectations, emerging technologies, workplace skills, and career opportunities in optometry and healthcare.
The event included expert talks, live demonstrations, interactive student sessions, and discussions on industry-relevant skill development, enabling participants to gain practical exposure and professional guidance.
Aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education, the initiative promoted industry-oriented learning, skill enhancement, and career readiness among undergraduate and postgraduate optometry students.
