
Seminar on AI in Modern Industry Commerce with Institution Innovation Council (IIC) & IQAC 14-04-2026
The seminar titled AI in Modern Industry was organized by the Department of Commerce in
collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and association with IQAC of Brainware University. The
event was conducted on 14th April 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Seminar Hall, Vivekananda Bhavan. The
primary objective of the seminar was to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and its transformative role in modern industries. The session was delivered by the esteemed resource
person, Mr. Aninda Sankar Sukla, Senior Data Scientist & Manager at Capgemini. His extensive industry experience
and expertise in data science and AI provided valuable insights into real-world applications and emerging trends. The
seminar served as an effective platform to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices,
enabling students to understand how AI is revolutionizing various sectors, including manufacturing, finance,
healthcare, and services.
Objectives: The seminar was organized with the following objectives:
- To develop a clear understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its significance in modern industries.
- To examine practical applications of AI across key sectors such as manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and
services. - To build awareness about emerging trends, tools, and career opportunities in AI and data science.
