INTRODUCTION: On April 15, 2026, the Institute of Nursing hosted a freshers welcome named “NOBIN BORON”.
B.Sc. and GNM Nursing students of Batch 2025 are warmly welcomed through a nostalgic theme based on the retro name “Old school, new cool”. This event successfully showcased exceptional senior-junior bonding and creative student
presentation.
OBJECTIVES:
● To integrate new students into the university culture by fostering meaningful interactions with seniors and faculty.
● To provide a platform for freshers to showcase their confidence and personality through the three-round competition.
● To celebrate the “Old School, New Cool” theme by creatively blending nostalgic elements with modern student trends.
● To identify and reward outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional wit, stage presence, and creative thinking.
● To build a sense of belonging and institutional pride among the incoming batch through a high-energy ice-breaking
event.
