A seminar titled “Be Bold, Be Brave: Stand Up to Cervical Cancer” was organized to raise awareness about one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among women. The session focused on educating students about the importance of early detection, prevention, and breaking the stigma associated with cervical cancer, especially in developing countries like India.

The programme highlighted key aspects such as risk factors, symptoms, and the importance of screening methods like Pap smear and HPV testing, along with preventive measures including HPV vaccination and healthy lifestyle practices. Through interactive discussions and real-life insights, participants gained a deeper understanding of the need for timely diagnosis and proactive healthcare.

Aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), the seminar successfully encouraged awareness, responsibility, and a proactive approach toward women’s health, reinforcing the role of students in promoting public health and disease prevention.
