The initiative aimed to provide basic healthcare services to the community while promoting early detection of health problems and enhancing awareness about preventive healthcare practices. It also focused on strengthening community engagement and encouraging proactive health management among residents.
As an outcome, residents of Madhyamgram benefited from essential diabetes and blood pressure screening services, gaining better awareness about the importance of regular health check-ups and early diagnosis. The programme also reinforced the social responsibility of Brainware University through active community outreach. Additionally, students gained valuable real-world experience in patient screening and developed hands-on proficiency in conducting blood sugar and blood pressure tests under faculty supervision.
