
Fit & Fine: Free Health Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences 01.03.2026
The Community Health Screening Camp organized at Salkia, Howrah by the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with the Calcutta Circular Lion’s Club, proved to be a highly successful outreach initiative. The camp effectively delivered essential diagnostic screening services, contributing to the early detection of health concerns and promoting awareness of preventive healthcare practices among the local community.
Participants benefited from accessible vision and cardiovascular screenings, with individuals identified at risk being guided toward further medical consultation, supporting timely diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, the camp provided a valuable experiential learning platform for students of allied health science programs. Through active involvement in patient screening, equipment handling, and clinical observation, students gained practical exposure to real-world healthcare settings.
The initiative highlighted the importance of institutional collaboration in advancing public health efforts and reflected the university’s strong commitment to community engagement.
