INDUSTRY VISIT AT MR BANGUR HOSPITAL Hospital Management 23/02/2026 to 24/2/2026 and 5/03/2026 to 6/3/2026
The Department of Hospital Management organized an industry visit to Mr. Bangur Hospital, Kolkata, for BBA (HM) and MBA (HM) students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to hospital administration, operations, and healthcare service delivery in a government hospital setting, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world practice.
Students were introduced to the hospital’s structure and functioning and participated in a guided tour of key departments such as OPD, IPD, emergency, pharmacy, and diagnostic units. They observed patient processes including registration, admission, and discharge, and interacted with hospital staff to understand workflow, management practices, and challenges in healthcare delivery.
The visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, enhancing students’ understanding of hospital management and public healthcare systems. It helped develop their practical knowledge, professional awareness, and analytical skills for future careers in healthcare management.
