“Vibrant Health: Free Eye Checkup Camp”, Dept: Allied Health Sciences, Date: 06-02-2026
The Vibrant Health: Free Health Checkup Camp, organised by the Department of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), Brainware University (BWU), in collaboration with the Lions Club of Calcutta Circular at St. Xavier’s Collegiate School on 6th February 2026, concluded successfully with meaningful community participation and positive health outcomes. The initiative effectively enhanced awareness regarding preventive healthcare and facilitated early identification of health concerns through systematic screening and counseling. By ensuring accessible health services within the school environment, the camp reinforced the importance of regular checkups and healthy lifestyle practices. Furthermore, it provided valuable experiential learning opportunities for students, strengthening their professional competencies and
commitment to community service. Overall, the program significantly contributed to the realization of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by promoting inclusive, preventive, and community-based healthcare services.
