Witness to Pages from the Past: Media Science students get a sneak peek into Anandabazar Patrika newsroom
Newsroom is always a happening place! It is important for the aspiring journalists to get a sneak peek into the dynamic ambience where they will ‘make’ and ‘break’ stories in future!
Recently, a visit to the office of Anandabazar Patrika was organised by Sudipta Bhattacharjee, Adjunct Professor, Department of Media Science and Journalism for the students of the department.
This was a unique opportunity for the students to witness history from such close quarters. In an engrossing session at the iconic ABP Library, the students were taken back in time to March 13, 1922 as they got the chance to see the first-ever copy of Anandabazar Patrika.
These industry visits will groom our aspiring journalists into competent ones who will provide a strong support to the fourth pillar of democracy.
