Hoops ‘N’ Rehab @ All-Bengal Sub- Junior Basketball Tournament Allied Health Sciences with LevelUp Physiotherapy & Sports Rehab 24-01-2026 to 28-01-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with LevelUp Physiotherapy & Sports Rehab, successfully organized “Hoops ’N’ Rehab” at the All-Bengal Sub-Junior Basketball Tournament from 24th January to 28th January 2026, commencing 9:00 am onwards.
The program was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Md. Belal Quraishi (PT), Head Physiotherapist at LevelUp Physiotherapy and Sports Rehab. The initiative focused on providing on-field physiotherapy support, sports injury prevention, immediate care, and rehabilitation services to young basketball players, ensuring their safety, fitness, and optimal performance throughout the tournament.
Physiotherapy students actively participated in the event, gaining valuable hands-on clinical exposure in a competitive sports environment and enhancing their practical skills through real-time assessment and management of sports-related injuries. The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Sanhita Sengupta (PT), ensuring smooth organization and effective learning outcomes.
Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Good Health & Well-Being and SDG 4 – Quality Education, Hoops ’N’ Rehab successfully promoted accessible sports healthcare while fostering experiential learning and professional development among future physiotherapists.
