Empowering Young Minds through Financial Awareness Management 21-01-2026
The Department of Management successfully conducted the event “Empowering Young Minds through Financial Awareness for Girls” on 21st January 2025 to equip young women with essential financial knowledge and skills, recognising the crucial role of financial literacy in personal growth and societal progress. The session was graced by CMA Angshuman Bhattacharya, a seasoned Cost and Management Accountant and Financial Consultant, who brought real-world insights into financial planning, money management, and investment fundamentals.
As a result of the session, attendees demonstrated improved understanding of core financial principles, expressed greater confidence in planning their personal finances, and pledged to implement savings and investment strategies in their daily lives. This initiative also contributed to SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by fostering foundational financial skills that support innovation and resilient economic participation among young women, thereby strengthening inclusive economic infrastructures.
