Run Kolkata, Race the World: Kolkata Police Safe Drive Save Life Half Marathon Allied Health Sciences with Indian Association of Physiotherapy 18-01-2026
The outreach initiative at the RUN KOLKATA: RACE THE WORLD – Kolkata Police Safe Drive , Save Life Half Marathon 2026 on 18/01/26, successfully blended community service, clinical practice, and interactive health promotion activities. Students and faculties from Physiotherapy Program, Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University were engaged in diverse activities such as pre-run warm-up sessions, post-run recovery therapy, pain management, stretching demonstrations, and health awareness interactions. These efforts provided runners with effective recovery support and education on injury prevention. The program not only enhanced participants’ well-being but also enriched students’ hands-on clinical experience, reinforcing Brainware University’s dedication to public health promotion, experiential learning, and professional excellence.
