Care Beyond Age: Free Health Checkup Camp was successfully organized by the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with Billion Hearts Beating ,Apollo Foundation at Village Purbachara, P.O. Tikashi, Block Khejuri I, District Purba Medinipur, West Bengal on 19.01.26. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and ensure early detection of health issues among the elderly by making quality healthcare services accessible at the community level. Students from the Optometry Program of Allied Health Sciences actively participated in the camp, contributing through vision screening and patient support, gaining valuable hands-on experience while serving society. The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Debolina Kumar, whose guidance and leadership played a key role in its success. The camp received an overwhelming response and reflected Brainware University’s strong commitment to community service, experiential learning, and social responsibility.
