Heal the Needy: Free Health Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with Billion Hearts Beating, Apollo Foundation, 25-01-2026
This is to inform you that Students from the Program of Optometry, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Physician Assistant (BPA), Critical Care Technology (CCT), and Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) actively participated in the “Heal The Needy: Free Health Checkup Camp” held on 25 January 2026 at the Registered Office, Debipur, Hooghly. The camp was organised by the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University in collaboration with Debipur Disha Seva Sanstha and Prince Opticals.
From 10:00 am onwards, students were involved in patient screening, basic health assessments, vision check-ups, and community interaction under faculty supervision. Their participation provided valuable hands-on clinical exposure while promoting community awareness and accessible healthcare services. The initiative aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), reinforcing the institution’s commitment to experiential learning and social responsibility.
