Eye Camp at Baruipur Central Jail by Allied Health Sciences
For the first time, the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, organized an eye camp at Baruipur Central Jail on December 14, 2025, as part of its community outreach initiative. The camp aimed to provide essential eye care services to the inmates and promote awareness about ocular health. Basic vision screening and refraction tests were conducted to identify refractive errors, presbyopia, and other visual issues. The initiative was highly appreciated by the jail authorities and inmates, marking a meaningful step toward Brainware University’s mission of inclusive healthcare and social responsibility.
