Alumni Talk on “Bridging Academia and Industry”
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE – CS & DS), Brainware University, organized an Alumni Talk Session on “Bridging Academia and Industry” on 8th November 2025 at the Seminar Hall, Vidyasagar Bhavan (Building II – 007).
The session featured distinguished alumni Mr. Sayan Ghorui, Mr. Bhaskar Maity, and Mr. Animesh Chakrabarty, currently working as Software Developers at ICRA Analytics Ltd. They shared valuable insights into the transition from academic learning to professional practice, emphasizing key industry expectations, emerging technological trends, and essential career development skills.
The interactive session helped students understand how classroom knowledge can be effectively applied in real-world projects, thereby strengthening their employability and technical competence.
Aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education), the event successfully fostered experiential learning, industry awareness, and professional readiness among students, reinforcing Brainware University’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry.
