Industry Visit at Galaxy Hospitals – Student Industry Interface
The Department of Hospital Management, Brainware University, organized an industry visit to Galaxy Hospitals, Kolkata, on 13th October 2025 for the MBA (Hospital Management) 1st-year students. The visit was coordinated and assisted by Ms. Payel Bakshi (Assistant Professor), in collaboration with the Training & Placement Cell. A total of 13 students participated in this experiential learning activity.
The visit aimed to provide students with real-world exposure to hospital administration, operational protocols, and departmental coordination. Students observed various hospital units and gained practical insights into management systems, patient care processes, and healthcare standards.
Aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), the visit effectively bridged the gap between academic learning and professional practice. It enhanced students’ understanding of healthcare management and inspired them to pursue excellence in the hospital and healthcare sector.
