Industrial Visit: Exploring Advanced Cell Sorting Techniques
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, organized an industrial visit to the Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, IPGME&R/SSKM Hospital on 20th November 2025. 15 first-semester MMLT students, guided by Dr. Dipanjan Bhattacharjee, participated in the visit.
Students received hands-on training on advanced immunopathological techniques, including Flow Cytometry (FACS) and Immunofluorescence assays (ANA and ANCA). The session covered sample preparation, machine operation, data acquisition, and analysis.
The visit provided valuable practical exposure that strengthened the students’ understanding of theoretical concepts and will greatly benefit them in their future professional practice.
