Theme: Think Health, Think Pharmacists
The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Brainware University, celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2025 on 20 November 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. under the coordination of Mr. Sudip Saha and Mr. Satyam Mal. As part of the celebration, a health camp was organized at Sree Ramakrishna Prema Bihar, Hyderbelia, Prithiba, Habra, North 24 Parganas, benefitting 39 patients, along with the participation of 12 students and 2 faculty members.
The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and community awareness while offering free primary health check-ups and medicines to underprivileged villagers. The camp included blood pressure and BMI assessments, lifestyle counseling, and medicine distribution, emphasizing the crucial role of pharmacists in community health.
The event provided students with valuable hands-on experience in public health and patient care, strengthening their understanding of social responsibility. The department expressed gratitude to the Ashram authorities and university management for their support in making the outreach programme a success.
