The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Brainware University, in collaboration with the
Department of Law, organized a seminar on “Distinctiveness and Consumer Perception:
How Entrepreneurs Should Choose Legally Strong Trademarks” on 25th November 2025.
The event aimed to educate students, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs on the
importance of selecting distinctive and legally robust trademarks for their ventures. The
session provided valuable insights into how trademarks influence consumer perception, brand
identity, and legal protection for businesses in competitive markets.
The session was led by distinguished speakers from academia and the legal profession who
discussed real-world case studies on intellectual property rights (IPR) and trademark disputes.
