The Department of Law, in collaboration with the IQAC and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Brainware University, organised a seminar on “Legal and Ethical Issues in Startup Entrepreneurship” on April 29, 2025, at UB II, Auditorium Hall. The session featured Professor Subrata Kumar Ray, Adjunct Professor, Department of Law and Management, MAKAUT, as the distinguished speaker. He discussed the critical role of legal compliance, intellectual property rights, and ethical practices in building sustainable startups. Students gained valuable insights into the legal frameworks governing entrepreneurship and the importance of integrity in business innovation.
