A day with the children of Mahajibon NGO; competition, fun-filled activities, competition and awareness
The students of Brainware University spent an eventful day with the children at Mahajibon NGO. This outreach activity was jointly organised by the departments of English and Literary Studies and Media Science and Journalism.
It is by means of education, one can achieve and fulfill one’s dreams. Spreading awareness on the importance of education was the main objective of this outreach programme.
A drawing competition was organised for the children and school bags, sets of notebooks, geometry boxes, crayons, pencil pouches, globe, dictionary were given to the children.
The faculty members also attempted to provide counselling to adolescent students regarding persistence in continuing higher education. In the meantime, students at our university engaged with the NGO children in the games of Antakshari and Atlas thereby establishing a strong relationship.
