The Department of Hospital Management in collaboration with IQAC hosted a dynamic seminar titled ‘Lead Like a Woman: Claiming Your Space in Leadership and Decision-Making’. Gouranga Sarkar, Senior Manager, Learner & Development, L&T Finance, brought in a wealth of insight with charm, wit, and clarity. Mr Sarkar reiterated that whether CEOs, traffic police officers, or homemakers, leadership is about taking responsibility and making decisions, not holding titles. Furthermore, he narrated the inspiring tale of Operation Sindoor, where two women officers led during a crisis, proving courage has no gender. Finally, he delved into why women still lack visibility in key sectors like government and STEM, unpacking the societal and cultural nuances that need change.
