Themed “Empathy Building: Stepping into Another’s Shoes,” the programme aimed to promote compassion, respect, and inclusivity among students while reinforcing the university’s zero-tolerance stance on ragging. Participants delivered powerful extempore speeches reflecting on empathy, emotional intelligence, and responsible student behaviour. The event encouraged open dialogue, strengthened peer relationships, and raised awareness about the psychological and legal consequences of ragging. It fostered a culture of kindness and understanding—essential values in the healthcare and academic community. The session successfully aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, reaffirming Brainware University’s commitment to a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment.
