The Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering – AI, in collaboration with the IQAC, Brainware University, organised an outreach programme titled “Old Age Home Visit – Generations Connect” on March 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Dr. B.C. Roy Co-operative Colony Society Ltd., Bidhan Park, Kolkata. The visit aimed to foster intergenerational bonding by sharing time and joy with elderly residents. Students interacted warmly with the senior citizens, engaging in meaningful conversations, cultural activities, and small gestures of care that brought smiles and comfort. Coordinated by Ms. Bidisha Barua and Ms. Rajrupa Roy Chaudhuri, the initiative promoted empathy, social responsibility, and respect for the elderly. The event reflected Brainware University’s commitment to community engagement and aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.
