This seminar offered students an opportunity to learn about careers in biotechnology and scientific research, featuring insights from Arijit Pani, Associate Scientist in the Industry. Arijit shared his professional journey, the skills required in the rapidly evolving biotech field, and how scientific research drives innovation in health and industry. Attendees explored the connection between biotechnology and the achievement of SDGs, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through advancements in medical research, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by fostering innovation in biotechnology solutions for global challenges. The session aimed to provide insights into the skills and strategies that students could adopt to become a part of this dynamic industry and contribute to India’s growing success in biotech research and innovation.
