Seminar on Vedic Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics, Brainware University, in collaboration with IQAC, organized a seminar on “Vedic Mathematics: From Ancient Sutras to Modern Solutions” on November 19, 2024, from 3 PM to 4 PM at University Building 2, Seminar Hall (Room No. 303). The session was conducted by Mr. Gaurav Tekriwal, President, Vedic Maths Forum India, who explained how ancient mathematical techniques can simplify modern problem-solving. Coordinated by Ms. Suparna Roychowdhury, the seminar enriched students’ understanding of India’s mathematical heritage and its relevance in today’s education system.
