Report on National Workshop on CADD and QSAR
The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Brainware University, organized a 2-day National Hands-on Workshop on “Advances in Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR): Practical Applications in Drug Discovery from Synthetic and Indian Traditional Medicinal Sources” on January 21 and 22, 2025. The workshop included online lectures by Prof. Venkatesan Jayaprakash (BIT Mesra) and Prof. Ravindra Kulkarni (Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune), and hands-on training sessions by Dr. Mainak Chatterjee and Mr. Purna Chandra Pal. The event provided participants with valuable exposure to modern computational drug design tools and their practical applications in pharmaceutical research.
