Some revolutions don’t begin with a roaring engine.
They begin with a single question:
What if the materials inside a gas turbine could perform beyond today’s limits?
That question inspired our faculty member Sayan Samanta from the Department of
Mechanical Engineering to explore the future of advanced materials capable of
withstanding extreme temperatures, improving durability, and enhancing the
efficiency of next-generation gas turbines.
Today, that journey of curiosity has been recognized with a publication in Emerging
Trends in Industrial Machines and Mechanisms, published by Springer Nature,
Singapore, and indexed in Scopus.
