Students from the numerous departments of the University let their imagination run wild and their creative powers take over as with the help of their mentors and teachers they built up and constructed machines and models of various social utilities and significances. It was all about innovations this weekend as Brainware University celebrated its inaugural tech fest, Texibition 2K18 at its Barasat campus on the 18th and the 19th of May 2018.

Inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Brainware University, Dr. Subhansu Bandopadhyay and other senior dignitaries, the fest showcased many technological marvels designed and created by the students themselves. From blind man’s walking stick that beeps when in proximity of an obstacle, a wi-fi operated centrally controlled household management system, air purifier to mobile operated wheelchair and digital and analog heartbeat and temperature detector the erstwhile classrooms were filled with robots, models and other items it seemed from science fiction movies. The event was concluded with prizes given to the top 3 models of innovation. We congratulate all the participants for their unhindered enthusiasm and urge them to carry on and nurture this steak of innovation and critical thinking in them.
