Can a machine think? Can it learn things the way human beings learn subjects in school? These are the constant challenges faced by researchers who are currently working on Artificial Intelligence. Machine Learning is an application based on Artificial Intelligence which enables a machine to learn on its own. Brainware University, which has always relied on technological inventions, believes that the gap between academia and industry can only be overcome by providing students with the scope of hand-on experience.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a 3-day long workshop on “Machine Learning with Python” conducted by Mr. Sayantan Chakraborty, Technical Director of National Institute for Industrial Training from February 27 to February 29, 2020 at Brainware University. The workshop was attended by more than 30 students. The main objective of this workshop was to teach students how to analyse data and apply the knowledge of Python in Artificial Intelligence. Organization of such workshops helped students to learn the foundations of Machine Learning and made them understand how to lead successful machine learning projects. It also made students more job-ready and industry-friendly.
