Brainware University celebrated the 196th birth anniversary of mystic and reformer Dayanand Saraswati on the 12th of February, 2020. Born in the little town of Tankara in the suburbs of Gujarat, Dayanand Sarawati was not only a mystic and a philosopher but also a freedom fighter who led the Swaraj movement against the British Raj in the hey days of colonialism.
Organised by the department of Management and Commerce, the event saw the students of the department speak extensively about Saraswati and his contributions to not only the Indian state but also to the Indian society as a whole. Praising his ideas of liberty and secularism they highlighted how his ideals can help us mold a better world and be better human beings. Brainware University is proud to commemorate such a man and pledge to work on his ideals.
