The session featured expert interactions with <strong>Dr. Deb Prasad Ray<\/strong>, Head of Division, Chemical &amp; Bio-chemical Processing Division, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata, and <strong>Dr. Prateek Shrivastava<\/strong>, Scientist, Research &amp; Development Unit, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata. The experts discussed retting, extraction, purification, characterisation, processing, and value-addition techniques, with emphasis on applications such as oil absorption, composites, packaging, textiles, and environmental remediation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seminar provided students and faculty members with valuable technical and practical insights into natural fibre technologies and their sustainable applications. It helped bridge academic learning with research and industrial practices while highlighting the potential of renewable and biodegradable materials.
