Dr. Dutta emphasised, &#8220;In the upcoming decade, the realm of biotech is going to emerge as the largest employment provider.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While interacting with the students, diverse research and entrepreneurial aspirations surfaced ranging from working on rare genetic disorders, genetic engineering to biomaterials. While Dr. Dutta pointed out that India&#8217;s standing on the Global Entrepreneurship and Development Index (GEDI) stands between 70-75, he anticipates the figure to rise further with the burgeoning biotech industry, professing his faith in the students saying \u201cyou are the pillar of education\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event drew to a close with a MoU signing between Kolkata Biotech Park and the Department of Biotechnology at Brainware University.
