The visit enabled students to understand the functioning of the ICDS Centre and observe various services related to child growth monitoring, supplementary nutrition, maternal and child health, hygiene, and early childhood care and development. Students interacted with ICDS personnel to gain insights into community-based nutrition and health services, prevention of malnutrition, and nutrition education. They also recorded their observations and connected their field experiences with concepts learned in the classroom.
