The activity provided students with practical exposure to photography, videography, and visual documentation through a guided heritage walk from Sovabazar to Kumortuli. During the walk, students explored and documented the historical streets, architecture, local communities, traditional workshops, artisans, clay idols, and everyday street life that contribute to Kolkata\u2019s distinctive cultural identity. They interacted with local artisans and observed the various stages of traditional idol-making while capturing stories and visual elements through photography and videography.
