The programme highlighted the role of IPR in safeguarding creativity while promoting innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. Special emphasis was placed on <strong>patent drafting and filing procedures<\/strong>, enabling participants to gain practical insights into identifying patentable innovations, preparing essential patent documents, and understanding the overall patent filing process. The workshop also introduced participants to various IPR mechanisms and the opportunities available for protecting and commercializing intellectual assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with different forms of IPR and their role in safeguarding intellectual and creative assets. It provided an understanding of patentability and helped participants identify innovations and research outcomes that may qualify for patent protection. Through an overview of patent drafting and filing procedures, the programme offered practical knowledge on the preparation of relevant documents and the filing process. The workshop further encouraged participants to explore pathways for protecting and commercializing intellectual assets, thereby promoting a culture of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship among students, researchers, and innovators.
