The session addressed the critical intersection of gender equity and water resource management, highlighting its relevance in sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program was hosted by Dr. Indrani Paul, who warmly welcomed the speaker and participants. The guest was felicitated by Dr. Sayantan Ghosh. Dr. Shouvik Saha played a key role in organizing and facilitating the seminar. A total of 83 students and 7 faculty members actively participated, making the event engaging and interactive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar aimed to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of gender equality and water security, emphasizing Sustainable Development Goals\u2014particularly SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation). It also encouraged entrepreneurial thinking and raised awareness about innovative, gender-responsive solutions in water management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The keynote session covered important themes such as gender roles in water accessibility, challenges in sanitation affecting marginalized communities, and successful case studies of inclusive water management.
