Stroke is a leading cause of disability and mortality worldwide and is increasingly affecting younger populations due to lifestyle changes, stress, and unmanaged health conditions. The programme strongly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly <strong>SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being<\/strong>, by promoting preventive healthcare and emergency response awareness, and <strong>SDG 4: Quality Education<\/strong>, by providing evidence-based health education to students as future healthcare professionals and responsible citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session featured an expert lecture by <strong>Dr. Angshuman Roy (MBBS, MD)<\/strong>, who discussed stroke awareness, early warning signs, prevention strategies, and emergency care pathways. Interactive discussions and real-life scenarios emphasized the significance of early action and hospital readiness in managing stroke cases. The event also encouraged lifestyle modification, stress management, and preventive healthcare practices among young adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar successfully enhanced awareness and understanding of stroke prevention and emergency response among students and faculty members. By integrating medical expertise with academic learning, the programme reinforced the importance of preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and timely intervention, contributing to SDG 3. Simultaneously, it served as a platform for quality, inclusive, and relevant education, promoting SDG 4.
