Vision Support: Free Eye Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences in Collaboration with Billion Hearts Beating, Apollo Foundations 04-02-2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of promoting healthy ageing and accessible eye care, the Department of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), Brainware University (BWU)<\/strong>, in collaboration with Billion Hearts Beating<\/strong> , Apollo Foundation<\/strong>, successfully organized \u201cVision Support: Free Eye Checkup Camp<\/strong>\u201d<\/em> on 4 February 2026<\/strong> at Seulipur Udayan Club, Village \u2013 Seulipur, P.O. Paschimbar, Via Sabang, District \u2013 Purba Medinipur, West Bengal (PIN: 721144)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The camp was specially dedicated to elderly individuals<\/strong>, addressing age-related vision problems through comprehensive eye examinations, visual acuity testing, refraction assessment, and counseling on eye health and preventive care. Qualified professionals and volunteers worked together to ensure compassionate, patient-centric services, creating awareness about early detection and management of ocular conditions common in old age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative reflected a strong commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being<\/strong>, by reducing barriers to quality eye care, improving visual health, and enhancing the overall quality of life for senior citizens. The program stood as a meaningful step toward inclusive healthcare delivery, reinforcing the collective responsibility to care for the vision and well-being of our ageing population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
