Coordinated by <strong>Dr. Sambit Datta<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Anusuya Debnath<\/strong>, with support from <strong>Dr. Samrat Paul<\/strong>, the event engaged <strong>37 undergraduate and postgraduate students<\/strong> in a day-long innovation challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ideathon, aligned with the <strong>national e-YUVA program<\/strong>, encouraged participants to develop creative, sustainable, and biotechnology-driven solutions to environmental problems. Thirteen teams presented innovative ideas addressing waste management, pollution control, and sustainable urban practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team SAAS<\/strong> won the <em>Best Idea Award<\/em> for <em>\u201cSilent Killer in the Sky: Air Pollution,\u201d<\/em> while <strong>Team Morphogen<\/strong> received the <em>Best Feasible Project Award<\/em> for their <em>\u201cHybrid Bioceramic Capture Beads (HBCB).\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aligned with <strong>SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being)<\/strong> and <strong>SDG 4 (Quality Education)<\/strong>, the event promoted hands-on learning, problem-solving, and scientific creativity.
