The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between legal education and community needs by bringing key issues of <strong>gender justice and inclusivity<\/strong> into a public forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme featured interactive sessions led by <strong>Dr. Amrita Dasgupta<\/strong>, who discussed women\u2019s property rights; <strong>Mr. Souradypta Paul<\/strong>, who elaborated on crimes against women under the <em>Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)<\/em>; and <strong>Dr. Pounami Basu<\/strong>, who highlighted the <strong>Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019<\/strong> and related welfare provisions. The session concluded with an engaging <strong>Q&amp;A<\/strong> round addressing practical challenges in accessing justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event successfully promoted <strong>legal awareness, equity, and dignity<\/strong>, empowering participants with essential knowledge of rights and protections.
