The exposure visit aims to achieve several key objectives:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding MSME Operations \u2013 To provide participants with firsthand knowledge of the manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and operational strategies of an MSME unit in the footwear industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exploring Entrepreneurship & Innovation \u2013 To expose participants to the challenges and opportunities in MSME entrepreneurship, including product development, quality control, and business scalability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning about Workforce & Skill Development \u2013 To observe the role of skilled labor in MSME growth and understand training, employment opportunities, and workforce management in a small-scale industrial setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awareness of Government Schemes & Support \u2013 To educate participants on various MEME-related government policies, financial assistance programs, and market linkage initiatives that support small businesses. The exposure visit provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the operational dynamics of the MSME cluster, specifically within a footwear manufacturing unit. Participants had the opportunity to observe firsthand the various stages involved in shoe production, from raw hide processing to the completion of finished footwear. The visit facilitated direct interaction with manufacturers, enabling students to discuss and seek clarification on various aspects of the production process. Additionally, the program fostered meaningful engagement with industry professionals, creating avenues for potential collaborations, internships, and knowledge-sharing opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and students. Through these interactions, participants gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship, business development strategies, cost management, and market expansion techniques. Moreover, the visit enabled students to understand the essential skill sets required for employment in the MSME sector, along with the diverse career opportunities available in footwear manufacturing. By witnessing key production processes\u2014including material selection, cutting, stitching, assembling, finishing, and packaging\u2014students acquired a practical perspective on the intricacies of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
