The guest speaker, Soumik Dasgupta, Senior Engineer at L&amp;T Construction, took students on a journey through real-world civil engineering marvels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From Geo-Technical Investigations to excavation, PCC (Plain Cement Concrete), and foundation construction, he broke down the crucial steps before a bridge even begins to rise. The session covered concrete placement in bridges and tunnels, pile foundation boring, and the use of Sino-Pile technology in weak soil areas.
