Speakers encouraged among students responsible and secure online ractices, like using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, and safeguarding personal information. The focus was on educating students on the ethical implications of cybersecurity, including the importance of respecting privacy and complying with laws and regulations, training them on how to respond effectively if they encounter or fall victim to a cyberattack, including knowing whom to contact and how to minimize damage and to spark career interest in related fields.
