Also, Tagore delivered seven lectures in this university and every year Tagore Festival is observed at the hall where he delivered his speeches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Pratik Banerjee who is originally from Barasat, is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois. He was the resource person for the seminar on &#8216;Advanced Microbial Genomic Tools for Solving Food Safety and Public Health Challenges&#8217; organised jointly by the departments of Biotechnology and Food &amp; Nutrition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is a food safety challenge?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is a public health challenge?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Banerjee started the session by throwing these two important questions to the students.
