Step Wise Registration Process
Last date for online registration is 5th February 2020

  • Students successfully completed their Degree in 2019 are eligible for award of original Certificate at this Convocation.
  • Eligible students are required to register themselves for obtaining the degree certificate from convocation and pay the requisite fee in CASH/ NEFT/ RTGS mode.
  • Registration can be done online by accessing home page of the university website
  • Read the instruction for Registration carefully.
  • Register to the online portal by providing your current functioning Email ID and other details and submit the form.
  • After successful Registration take the print out of acknowledgement receipt and produce it to the accounts department of the University to pay requisite fees in cash by 10th February 2020. Online payment holder are advised to collect their money receipt of the payment from accounts department before the convocation by producing the acknowledgement receipt of registration.

  • The date of convocation is 15th February 2020 (Saturday) at 12 noon. Venue – Brainware University Campus, Barasat.

Registration Fee Details

  • To receive the degree in person at the convocation: Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred) only and a refundable security deposit of Rs. 700/- (Rupees Seven Hundred) towards Convocation stole.
  • Only one guest may accompany the candidate.
  • Registration fees may be paid in CASH/NEFT/RTGS. Cash to be paid at the accounts department of University. For Online payment Bank details are as follows:

  • For attending the Convocation, degree recipients are required to maintain proper dress code, i.e. boys should wear Formal Shirt+pant+Shoe, girls are required to wear sharee or salwar+kamij. The dress codes are to be strictly followed failing which they may not be allowed to receive the degree on the dais.

Guidelines for Degree Recipients

  • DATE: February 15, 2020 (Saturday) Reporting on the Convocation Day :
    Time : 10 A.M. sharp
    Venue : Brainware University, Barasat Campus
    Reporting for Physical Registration and collection of stole, Hall Ticket and Lunch coupon
    Time : 10:00 A.M. to 11 A.M.
    Venue : Brainware University, Barasat Campus
    Candidate must produce money receipt, acknowledgement receipt and Identity Card for receiving the convocation stole, Hall ticket & lunch Coupon on February 15, 2020 during 10 am to 11 am at the designated registration counter.
  • Please enter the Convocation Venue with proper dress code as mentioned in the convocation portal and occupy the seat allotted to you before 10:30 am.
  • Maintain the solemnity of the function.
  • The audience shall remain standing at their respective seats as the Academic Procession enters and proceeds towards the dais.
  • Degrees will be awarded to all degree recipients (whose names are printed in the Convocation Brochure).
  • After the function is over, the convocation stole to be return and refundable caution deposit to be collected from the designated counter.

Security Guidelines

The Second Convocation of the University will be held on 15th February 2020 (Saturday) at 12 noon in the Brainware University Campus, Barasat. Following preliminary guidelines for security have been laid down in connection with the Convocation:

  • Guests must carry both their Hall ticket (non-transferable) and personal identity card to show them in entrance before the security personnel and it is limited to only one individual.
  • Children below 12 years are not permitted to accompany the guests.
  • Guests are requested to park their vehicles in designated parking area.
  • Please keep your mobile phones in silence mode at the convocation hall.
  • No edible and water bottles will be allowed inside the Convocation hall.
  • Invitees are requested to remain inside the Convocation hall till the academic procession leaves the hall.
  • All are requested to stand up when the Convocation Procession enters and leaves the hall
