About the Institute
The Brainware University, established under the West Bengal Govt. Act 31 of 2015, at Kazipara, Barasat, Kolkata strives to reach out and add worth to people's lives, impart quality education for creating efficient manpower for the future, and promote a superior category of students and researchers who would apply knowledge for the advancement of society and meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world. It aims to spread and enhance education, collaborate with national and international institutions, promote interdisciplinary research work, upgrade educational standards and empower the youth with a holistic development.
The University aims to create a promising environment for producing skillful professionals by making students aware of the modern industrial need. Also encourage fundamental and innovative research in the field of Computer Science & Engineering.
The Department of Electrical Engineering is going to organize this conference with an aim to support the objectives of NCMET-AI 2026 by promoting knowledge exchange and fostering interdisciplinary research for future technological progress.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE:
The National Conference on Multidisciplinary Engineering, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence (NCMET-AI 2026) is a two-day national-level academic event organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering. The conference aims to bring together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students to share knowledge, research findings, and innovative ideas across diverse engineering and technology domains, with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence and multidisciplinary applications.
NCMET-AI 2026 provides a platform for discussing emerging trends, advanced technologies, and integrated engineering solutions addressing real-world industrial and societal challenges. The conference features keynote lectures by eminent experts from reputed academic institutions, research organizations, and industry, along with technical paper presentation sessions across multiple thematic tracks.
The conference seeks to promote interdisciplinary research, strengthen industry–academia collaboration, encourage high-quality research publications, and enhance research skills among students and young researchers. Through knowledge exchange and networking, NCMET-AI 2026 aims to contribute to academic excellence, innovation-driven learning, and the development of future-ready engineering solutions.

The National Conference on Multidisciplinary Engineering, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence (NCMET-AI 2026) invites original, unpublished research papers, case studies, and review articles from academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students. The conference aims to provide a vibrant platform for sharing innovative ideas, recent research outcomes, and practical solutions addressing contemporary challenges in multidisciplinary engineering and emerging AI-driven technologies.
Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality papers that demonstrate theoretical contributions, experimental results, or practical applications relevant to engineering, technology, engineering science, and artificial intelligence. Selected papers will be presented during the conference and included in the conference proceedings, with opportunities for extended versions to be considered for publication in WoS indexed Journal(s)/ SCOPUS-indexed Book Chapter.
Publication charges will be applicable separately for SCOPUS-indexed Book Chapter/ WoS Journal(s).

Rules and regulations
- It is mandatory for at least one author of each paper to register in advance and present the paper for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
- Students / research scholars must produce a valid student or research scholar ID card at the conference venue.
- Without formal acceptance of the paper, deposition of the registration fee is not allowed.
- The registration fee excludes accommodation.
- The registration fee is non-refundable.
- Registration is required separately for each accepted paper.
- If an author has more than one accepted paper, separate registration is required for each paper. Co-authors wishing to participate must register as an "Attendee".
- Best Paper Awards will be provided with certificates.
- After the conference, based on feedback from expert members, selected papers may be recommended for journal publication. The final publication decision rests with the respective journal publisher.
