Phalguni Mookhopadhayay is the founder-Chancellor of Brainware University, founder-Chairman and Managing Director of Brainware Consultancy Private Limited, and founder-Chairman of Webguru Infosystems Private Limited. He completed his schooling at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur, graduated with Honours in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta, and later completed his MBA from IISWBM. After beginning his career as a management trainee at Hindustan Lever and subsequently working as a market planner for the ABP Group for nearly a decade, he went on to establish two successful private limited companies and a university.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond his accomplishments in education and entrepreneurship, Phalguni Mookhopadhayay is a self-taught digital artist, versatile photographer, filmmaker, and passionate singer. Over the years, he has recorded more than 148 songs, including Rabindrasangeet, Bengali modern songs, and Hindi melodies. His continuing musical journey is driven by a desire to preserve and promote India’s rich musical heritage among audiences across the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of this vision, he is currently engaged in a project titled \u2018<\/span>Aha! Purano Diner Shei Sob Gaan\u2019<\/b>, dedicated to reviving timeless Bengali and Hindi songs for contemporary listeners. The timeless appeal of a classic <\/span>Kishore Kumar Song<\/b>, the unforgettable compositions of <\/span>R.D. Burman<\/b>, and the emotional depth of every evergreen <\/span>Bengali Song<\/b> continue to resonate with music lovers across generations. Celebrating this rich musical legacy, Phalguni Mookhopadhayay\u2019s YouTube channel, with close to 230,000 subscribers and more than 42 million views, presents <\/span>Aha! Purano Diner Shei Sob Gaan<\/span><\/i>, a new musical series under Brainware University’s cultural initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by the success of the <\/span>Celebrating Tagore<\/span><\/i> project, the series revisits timeless songs by legendary artists including <\/span>Kishore Kumar<\/b>, Hemanta Mukhopadhyay, Manna Dey, Mohammed Rafi, and Lata Mangeshkar. Produced entirely in-house as non-commercial tributes with due permissions from Saregama, these renditions aim to preserve the heritage of classic <\/span>Bangla Gaan<\/b> and introduce a new generation of listeners to the golden era of Indian music.<\/span><\/p>\n
