A computer learns from a large data collection rather than from a set of rules and standards. In ML, accuracy in prediction increases with each new use case (data set).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While education experts have long called for digitalization, the COVID-19 pandemic has now compelled firms to step up their digitalization efforts and use new technologies such as AI and ML. According to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Business Today<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, AI will be integrated into 47% of learning management products by 2024. Furthermore, AI in the education business is predicted to grow at a CAGR of 40.3% between 2019 and 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no doubt that Artificial Intelligence has accelerated India&#8217;s online education business. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Application of AI<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has revolutionized education by improving the learning experience for students, reducing the workload of teachers, and enhancing the overall efficiency of educational institutions.:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Personalized Learning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: <\/span>AI and ML<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> algorithms can parse enormous amount of data on student performance and deliver personalized learning experiences that are suited to each student&#8217;s unique requirements. It is essential to guarantee that AI learning platforms are accessible to students of all socioeconomic backgrounds.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Bias in Machine Learning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> : AI powered app often <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">learn to make decisions based on training data, which might contain biased human judgements or reflect historical or societal inequalities even when sensitive factors like color, ethnicity, male\/female and so on are removed. Bias in recommendation lowers the power and potential of AI for business and society at large by promoting misleading outcomes. The same is true for educational platforms which receive biased recommendations based on algorithms that don&#8217;t take into account all important criteria. Hence, when developing a personalized platform it should be designed with minimal bias in order to promote equity and inclusiveness in education.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI and Machine Learning have radically changed education by providing personalized learning experiences, improving curriculum design, creating adaptive tests, and providing targeted aid and interventions to weaker students. We should expect even more dramatic changes in the way we teach and learn as AI and machine learning advance.
